The book is written in Kiranmala's point of view, giving us an in-depth look at her personality. During Game of Stars, she had green splotches all around her arms as well as green streaks in her hair. She has a moon-shaped birthmark on her neck and another scar on her arm, which Kiranmala describes as 'looks like a strange pair of saggy glasses' and 'is the exact shape of the symbol on a cobra's hood'. She wears a sweatshirt and jeans, plus her favorite purple combat boots. She has black hair which she ties in a braid, deep brown skin, and dark brown eyes. Then someone knocked on the door and Kiran opened it to see two handsome boys- one wearing red clothes, and the other one wearing blue clothes. On October 31st, Kiran noticed that her parents were acting weirder than usual, but she didn't really pay attention to it because according to Kiran, they always acted weird.īut when Kiran came back from school, she saw that the house was a mess and her parents weren't even home. Kiranmala was living a good life in Parsippany, New Jersey, until her 12th birthday.
Kingdom Beyond Series The Serpents Secret Kiranmala knew nothing about the Kingdom Beyond until her twelfth birthday. She took lots of vitamin gummies, though they weren't related to her past. Her adopted parents did things to keep her safe & close to the Kingdom Beyond, they never put curtains in her room, so the moonlight could shine in, her mother & her father always checked for cobras in their front yard, even though Kiranmala insisted there were no cobras in Parsippany, New Jersey.
Sesha went after her and scarred her arm, but she and her adopted parents escaped to Parsippany, New Jersey. She was rescued by her adoptive parents, Ma and Baba. Her mother was scared that Sesha would turn Kiranmala into a snake too & sent her down the River of Dreams in a clay pot. Her seven older brothers were turned into Naga, a seven headed snake. Kiranmala was the eighth child and only daughter of Sesha and the moon maiden. Kiranmala "Kiran" Ray was born in the Kingdom Beyond on October 31 to the Moon Maiden & Sesha.
